Chester, New York - Town Meetings - The Preservation Collective




	ATTENTION: The Chester Town Hall is a collection site for toiletry items to send to those in the South affected by Hurricane Katrina. Further information is available by contacting BettyAnn Reilly, Town Clerk of Chester 469-7000x4 or by email *chtowncl@frontiernet.net* Town Board Meetings are held on the first and second Tuesday of each month and on the Thursday before the 1st Tuesday of each month. The second and third meetings begin at 7:00 pm and the first meeting of the month at 7:30pm. The first meeting of the month is video taped and usually replayed the following night at 8:00 pm on Channel 77. Note - second Tuesday of the month meeting moved to second Wednesday effective March 2005 - forward. Town Planning Board Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00pm. These meetings are held at the Town Hall on Kings Highway. If court is in session, they move meetings to the senior center lower level behind library. Town Park & Recreation Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month. Zoning Board of Appeals - ? Please check with the Town Clerk on all other town meetings at 469-7000 x4. May 4th 8:00 pm @ Town Hall - Public Heaing on Monroe/Chester Sportmen's Club and continued Public Hearing on 1414 Kings Hwy building at entrance of Sugar Loaf as well as Public Hearing on Silver Stream Winery. July 20th 8:00 pm @ Town Hall - Agenda items include subdivision reviews on Ashford Estates, Laroe and Ridgeview Estates as well as site plan review on Verizon Wireless, 1414 Kings Hwy, Monroe/Chester sportsman club and King Zak Industries. August - C&S Grocers Public Hearing Continued, subdivision reviews for Baroda Reality, KB Laroe, Guiliana Estates and Warwick Ridge plus site plan review for Hudson Valley Welding.
